It is the most famous and renowned ink in China, known as "Pine Smoke of Yellow Mountain". Made from pine soot from Yellow Mountain in Anhui Province, it is perfectly suited for both painting and calligraphy. Deep black. Long-lasting. Use: These ink sticks should be ground on a special inkstone (suzuri), to which a small amount of water is added depending on the desired consistency.
