The plum tree symbolises spring because its flowers bloom whilst there is still snow on the ground. It is a symbol of spiritual awakening. The plum tree embodies vigour, longevity, resilience and independence; it is ‘like an orphan who stands on their own two feet without anyone’s help’.

This is an innovative mounting technique that uses modern materials; it is a multi-stage process requiring great concentration and expertise.
The result is excellent: the backing makes the paper more durable; the artwork acquires a certain rigidity, ideal for framing.
The colours are produced using coloured inks.

Although the rice paper has a backing, it remains delicate and dust tends to settle on it, so we recommend placing it under glass.
You can choose a simple frame that complements the minimalist style of the painting, or opt to add a passe-partout first.
