Meaning of the Plum Tree
The plum tree symbolises spring because its blossoms bloom whilst there is still snow on the ground. It is a symbol of spiritual awakening. The plum tree embodies vigour, longevity, resilience and independence; it is “like an orphan who stands on their own two feet without anyone’s help”.
It makes a lovely little gift for loved ones in Japan.
It can also be framed individually or as part of a display with other items from the same collection.
