The Meaning of the Ginkgo
The name ‘ginkgo’ means ‘silver apricot’. An ancient tree, it is often found in sacred places as it is believed to protect against evil spirits. Due to its stoic nature, the ginkgo is a symbol of immunity, resilience and hope.
It makes a lovely little gift for loved ones in Japan.
