In this gallery, we present different types of paper, supports, cardboards and rice paper for Sumi-e painting.

For example, we offer recycled paper, “exercise paper”, which is ideal for practice because it has the same characteristics as rice paper.

You will also find rice cardboards, measuring 25x27cm, composed of two parts: a circle of white rice paper and an ivory-coloured rice paper “frame”. The final effect is harmonious and gives the impression of a passe-partout already incorporated into the work.

Finally, we offer another type of support: whenzou rice paper mounted on a rigid white plasticised support.
This mounting technique, which consists of fixing a light surface (paper or canvas) onto a more solid and rigid support, is carried out by us to ensure an optimal experience for painters.
